Equipment Rental Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the rental and use of our baby gear and equipment. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Rental Agreement

By renting equipment from Baby Valet, you agree to:

  • Use the rented items solely for their intended purpose.

  • Return all items in clean, good working condition by the agreed-upon due date.

  • Notify us immediately of any damage, loss, or malfunction.

  • All rental items are intended for local use only and may not be transported on airplanes or used for air travel.

2. Reservation and Payment

  • Reservations may be made online, by phone or by email.

  • Full payment is required at the time of reservation.

  • Reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed only after payment is received.

  • Rental periods are based on calendar days, with a minimum of 3 days required for all rentals.

  • Changes are subject to availability.

  • Reservation requests are required to be made at least 48 hours prior to delivery

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • More than 7 days hours before delivery: Full refund.

  • Two to Six days before delivery: 50% refund.

  • Less than 48 hours: No refund.

  • Flight delays and weather-related disruptions my be rescheduled whenever possible.

4. Delivery and Pickup

  • Delivery and pickup must be scheduled in advance.

  • A delivery fee will apply if outside the 10 mile delivery radius.

  • An airport delivery and/or pick up fee will apply.

5. Cleaning, Damage & Loss Responsibility

 

  • I understand that I may be responsible for repair or replacement cost resulting in lost, stolen, negligence, unauthorized alterations or excessively damaged items.

  • Minor wear and tear such as minor scuffs, light dirt and typical usage mark is acceptable and will not incur additional charges.

  • Excessive damage such as broken frames, torn fabrics, missing parts or permanent stains will incur a charged repair or replacement cost.

 

6. Safety and Liability

  • All equipment is sanitized and safety inspected before each rental.

  • Baby Valet is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from improper use.

  • You are responsible for proper setup, usage, and supervision in accordance with manufacturer instructions.

  • Baby Valet may tag items with tracking devices, such has AirTags or other wireless tracking devices, utilized for theft and loss management purposes only.

  • Car Seat Safety Policy – Installation Disclaimer

Baby Valet provides manufacturer-approved car seats. Customers are responsible for installation, proper fit and proper use. Baby Valet does not under any circumstances install car seats.

·       I am responsible for the proper installation and used of the car seat.

·       I am responsible for reading and following all manufacturer instructions.

·       I am responsible for ensuring the equipment is used properly and only for its intended purpose.

·       I am responsible for supervising my child at all times while using rented equipment

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
